Promotion Policy

Class IX

1. The student needs to get minimum pass marks of 35% in English and four other subjects.

2. A student can fail in one subject other then English.

3. A candidate who has qualified for promotion to class X but failed in Dzongkha only has to reappear the written examination in Dzongkha in the beginning of the next academic session.

4. The minimum S.U.P.W. grade must be ‘C’.

Class XI

1.     The student Should  obtain a minimum of pass mark of 40% in English and three other subjects.

2.     If failed in Dzongkha, must sit for retest in the beginning of the next academic session.

3.     If poor performance in the 6^th subject, student to be asked to drop the subject (class XII- after trial examination and class XI after annual examination).
