Scouting Committee

Objectives

• To encourage more students to take up scouting.

• To impart the fundamentals of scouting.

• To impart Basic life skills to the scouts (pioneering, first aid, survival skills)

• To provide opportunities to students to explore their interests, abilities and innate talents.

• To produce productive and responsible citizens through scouting activities.   

Strategy

By making scouting accessible to all grades based on their interests, with a minimum intake of 32 to 40 students from each grade.

The Four Grades will be divided between the two scoutmasters.

            Class Nine – Karma Dema

            Class X, XI & XII – Prem Kumar Khatiwara.

Class IX:        

• Train new scouts (membership training for 3 months)

• Conduct commitment ceremony.

• Join in conserving nature with the nature club.

• Cleaning campaigns (in remote places).

• Community services (Religious places).

• Night halt hike.

   Class X:

• Community services:
•  Health awareness campaign.
• Join in conserving nature with the nature club.
• Flag hoisting in the school.
• Cleanliness campaign in the school.
• Provide the school with more waste bins. 

   Class XI & XII:

• Traffic control and community services.
• Cleanliness campaign.
• Making of volleyball court.
• Make Scout Park.
• Make benches and tables.

Collection of different materials to beautify the park.
