Policy

• Have maximum participation through active involvement of students.

• Encourage participation in games and sports activity.

• Ensure compulsory participation in a minimum of three activities.

• Class teacher and house teachers along with house tutors to ensure participation by signing in the record of participation after each event.

• Rewarding of excellence in games and sports as consideration to higher classes if the student deserves.

• Sharing the coordination of various activities to different teachers.

Objective

• Conducting games and sports activities on time as per the schedule.

• Assign duty to other teachers during mass involvement of students.

• Bring out all round development of students through games and sports.

• Explore the hidden talents and taste of students.

• Make the students able to take up sports as a career in their life.

Strategy

Coordination

Having the games teacher as the over all in charge with two other deputy coordinators for boys and girls separately. This arrangement is further assisted by in charges for various activities along with boys sports captain and girls sports captain from the student body. Financial management is looked after by the school administration where the requirement note sheets are to be put up by the sports committee.
