Policy

·        To promote and preserve Bhutanese culture and tradition

·        To enrich the school curriculum

·        To keep in line with the National Policy of helping the students for all round development through wholesome education  

 

Aim

To provide opportunities for students to participate in various cultural activities in the school

·        To provide opportunity for students to exhibit their talents

·        To promote the values and respect for Bhutanese cultural heritage and appreciate other cultures

·        To promote the spirit of competition for better results

·        To help students overcome stage fright and develop confidence

·        To inculcate Bhutanese values through participation

 

Strategies

To achieve the above aims the school has incorporated various cultural activities in the school calendar. The following is the list of major cultural programme that will be carried out for the academic year-2002:

May 2^nd - School Fete

As usual there will be a short cultural show before the opening of the Fete.

June 2^nd - Social Forestry Day

Besides planting trees, inter- House cultural competition, as usual, will be held on this day.
