The faculty has long believed that administration and management, contact with parents and affiliated organizations, admissions and monitoring of student performance- communication- would receive a boost online and herald a new era for the institution. Thus far flung areas of the country and organizations abroad would be connected with the soul of the institution. Our website provides glimpses of the facilities the school offers, explains the system, rules and regulations, and provides information on careers and courses. We will post reports of annual highlights. The archives depict the past of the institution and provoke nostalgia. 

 

YHSS is affiliated to Bhutan Board of Examinations, Thimphu, for Grade 10 and 12 Examinations respectively. The school preaches a philosophy of excellence in academics and a policy of wholesome education and maximum participation in a pleasant ambience and learning atmosphere conducive for total personality development.  

The school offers advanced educational facilities against a backdrop of pristine nature. Laboratories and library, games and sports, gymnasium, clubs and SUPW coexist with eternal religious values amidst breathtaking Himalayan scenery and a mystic silence.

 

While the founder’s vision has touched reality, His Majesty King Jigme Singye Wangchuck’s vision of Gross National Happiness is a beacon that inspires the school to engender productive citizens with values and life skills.
